Corrosion protection

Underseal, sand blasting and powder coating.

Protect chassis and steel components against rust and corrosion, on everything from cars and vans to buses, coaches and trucks.

Vehicle underseal

Stop corrosion before it takes a vehicle off the road.

Rust can weaken a chassis, leading to costly repairs or even taking a vehicle out of service. Undersealing is a cost-effective way to prevent it and belongs in any routine maintenance programme.

Many PSV operators already build it into their continuous improvement plans.

How it works

Four steps to a sealed chassis.

01

Lift and wash

The vehicle is raised on column lifts, and the underside is pressure washed and inspected.

02

Repair

Any corroded or damaged areas are repaired where needed.

03

Prime

A liquid primer bonds chemically with the metal, stopping rust from starting or spreading.

04

Seal

Once the primer cures, a watertight wax coating seals the treated areas from the elements.

Sand blasting and powder coating

Steel prepared properly, then coated.

Our sand blasting facility is custom built for steel, giving the best surface preparation before powder coating. A six-metre powder coating kiln handles a wide range of sizes and shapes.

Both are available as standalone services and are part of our own manufacturing.

  • Steel sand blasting
  • Six-metre powder coating kiln
  • Seat frames, components and fabricated parts
